PHILOSOPHY

CROSS, Inc. is committed to providing residential services to adults with developmental disabilities.  The primary goal is to provide a homelike environment where each resident can achieve his/her potential in a Christ-like atmosphere of mutual respect.

   Since we are a Christian home, we believe that our residents who know Jesus and trust Him are gifted from above and need to be included as party of the body of Christ.  Our residents have something of significance to offer each of us who work with them.

   We believe that God has called us to come along side of the “weak and powerless” of this world.  Jesus did the same thing when He was on earth and we follow his example.  We seek to move beyond care to inclusion

* Process is as important as product.

* We will conduct an annual review or higher.
* We support public disclosure.

Cooperation

* We are a parachurch organization and desire to come along side the local church to reach the lost and edify the body.
* We will cooperate with other similar ministries.
* We will promote teamwork through ministry.
